Join us for an afternoon of animation where you will learn how to make your own animated flipbook! See your characters brought to life in a series of drawings that seem to move as the pages are rapidly turned.
By the end of the afternoon, you will have a complete a flipbook (or more!) using traditional animation techniques, including tips on timing and other tricks to help bring your animated flipbook to life - No iPads or computers, just pencils, paper and lightboxes!
Please note this is an adult led activity and we allow a maximum of 2 children per accompanying adult.

Soft drinks and biscuits at half time, tea and coffee for the adults
At the end of the workshop you will have the opportunity to purchase a lightbox at cost price

Cost
£15 per person. Suitable for ages 7yrs+. Spaces limited to 24, so book early to avoid disappointment!

About the tutors
Jac
Jac works in the film and television industry as a production designer. She recently assisted Clinton in running 2 previous animation workshops. Jac is hugely inventive and knows just how to help you tell a good story - the best ones are the most simple!
isaac
An animator fresh out of university, ready to share tips and tricks he’s leaned. Isaac has ably assisted animation workshops with Clinton Osborne (from Animation Station) since the beginning at Yardley Arts in 2017!
