We welcome back the talented Cordell Garfield to run another full day’s portraiture workshop. Cordell teaches a step by step process to create a portrait from a photographic reference. The workshop is designed to help both beginners and more experienced artists.

A two-day course focusing on producing still life oil painting using a loose approach and exploring tone and colour to describe the subject, without overworking.

This workshop is an ideal introduction to landscape painting in oils. Working from a reference photo provided a landscape painting will be produced with attention to perspective, tonal values, colour mixing and application of colours. Students will be able to create a realistic landscape painting following a step-by-step process.
