If you’ve always wanted to try jewellery making, this three-hour taster workshop run by Beccy Gillatt is for you. You will make a beautiful piece of silver jewellery (ring or bracelet) to take away with you and treasure forever. Drinks and nibbles included..
Dates and cost
Thursday, 6 June, from 6.30pm to 9.30pm.
Cost: £35 per person
The course is limited to 11 spaces (maximum). The course is suitable for ages 12 and up, both total beginners and those with some experience.
What you need to bring:
An apron (or old clothes)
Notepad (blank page) or sketchbook
Pen and pencil
Any jewellery that you have made before
Textures such as skeleton leaves, fabric off cuts, textured paper
What to wear
Please make sure that you have a hairband to tie your hair back and do not wear floaty skirts, really loose fitting clothes, scarves or open toe shoes, as we will be in a workshop environment. We will use torches and some acids, which can damage clothes so an apron or pinny is recommended as well as remembering not to wear your favourite jeans!
If you have a design in mind
If you already have a design in mind please contact Beccy to discuss the viability and what you might need to purchase to make it. Afterwards, Beccy would be grateful if you could supply two images of your choice, landscape and portrait, if possible, for use in marketing (website and Facebook)
