A coil and slab clay workshop for adults and children aged 8 and over (children under 12 must be accompanied). You'll learn about the different techniques and create your own individual piece in this morning session.

The course is led by Clare Abbatt, a classically trained sculptor.

Preparation

All materials are included in the cost of the course, and there will be modelling tools available. Tea, coffee and squash are available at the arts centre.

What to wear

Clothes you don't mind getting dirty, and a large canvas apron, overalls or smock is ideal. Plaster can ruin clothes, so wear decorating or gardening clothes, or even a large old shirt.
