A fun workshop making a 3D quirky bird with willow, supported on a metal frame.
You will use and learn basic weaving techniques that can then be used for trying something a little more challenging and creative in future. Jane will demonstrate each stage of the process and there will be time for questions and discussion about all things willow!
What to bring
An apron, gloves, sensible shoes and a sense of fun!
If you prefer to bring your own secateurs, please do so.

All materials including different types of willow, and secateurs / snips.

Cost
£85 per person.
Spaces limited to 6 so book early to avoid disappointment!
Suitable for beginners and those with some experience, 18yrs+
Please be aware this workshop requires a degree of manual strength and dexterity

About the tutor
Jane has a passion for all things natural and willow! She has been delivering and managing community arts workshops for over 20 years. She has a BA in Fine Art and is a member of the Basketmakers’ Association.
