Join friendly and experienced artist and tutor, Nicky Hunter and learn how to paint a simple snow scene in the loose and lively watercolour style.

Focus will be on ‘less is more’, we’ll be painting a couple of simple paintings of misty fir trees and skeletal winter trees, long cast shadows capturing the cool winter light in the crisp white snow, and maybe adding a figure or two if you wish.

You will learn watercolour techniques that will enable you to loosen up your watercolour painting skills and paint in a more freeing vibrant style, exploiting the unique and exciting qualities of watercolour paint such as movement and translucency.
