A fun and experimental Saturday art class with Emma Lindsay running for the Autumn term. There will be an exciting project each time, which will teach children new skills and also how to use different materials in fun and varied ways. We will have a go at drawing, painting, printmaking and more!
14 September - St Basil’s Cathedral - create a colourful, architectural painting of the amazing, fairytale St Basil’s Cathedral in Moscow.
5 October - Russian Babushkas - draw and paint a colourful Russian Babushka, looking at Russian folk art and patterns.
26 October - Printmaking - this project will focus on creating an image on a foam printing plate and then transferring the image to paper. We will be looking at architectural compositions and reflections.
