Life Drawing from the Nude Form (5-week course)

Have you been wanting to give Life Drawing a try? Or is it something you do or maybe you haven’t done for ages? It can be pretty daunting starting Life Drawing Classes but at Yardley Arts the classes are friendly, open and fun.

This course run by Sara Myers is suitable for both total beginners and those with experience (aged 16 years and above).

Each of the five sessions contain a particular lesson, theme, set of exercises or discussion, with a variety of experienced male and female models. Each session includes looking at a particular artist, and there is always one long pose session and one concentrating on quick poses and sketch. You can choose to follow the exercises or draw independently.

What to bring

Materials and paper are provided along with boards, easels (or chairs) and clips. Do bring your favourite drawing materials and a sketch book if you prefer.

What to wear

Just wear comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting charcoal on.

Dates and cost

Tuesdays 7pm to 9pm starting on 17 September for five weeks.

Cost: £75 for the course. Open to all levels. Age 16+. A level Art students might find this course really useful too. Spaces limited to 12, so early booking recommended!
