Working Art Studio Space (Multiple dates available, half day and full day sessions)

  • Yardley Arts, The Old School Hall The Square, Yardley Hastings Northampton, England, NN7 1EU United Kingdom (map)

Following an intensive exhibition period, we now have a few weeks of quiet at Yardley Arts over the summer. We’d like to offer the main studio as a working space to artists/art students/creatives to paint, draw, or simply have time to work on some ideas in a creative supportive atmosphere.

With a maximum of 6 people taking over our huge space, you’ll have plenty of room to spread out and use multiple tables and easels, as you wish.

So come and make yourself at home in our beautiful studio. You can join Polly, Sally or one of the other artists/volunteers who will be working on their own projects over the summer.

For those who’ve attended previous courses, this is a great opportunity to either practice what you’ve learned, finish something you’ve never had time for or simply start something new. To practicing artists, you will be able to treat this as a working studio space.

If you book the art centre for consecutive days, your work and set up can remain in situe.

Yardley Arts has a very good selection of art books on artists and techniques as well as specialist art magazines providing great tips and inspiration. We have WiFi so if you want to bring Ipads to reference an image, please do so.

Please note that sessions are untutored.

It’s a great place to relax and be creative, to get in touch with another part of your brain, and give yourself permission for some ‘me’ time.
— Clare Duncan
