A two-day course focusing on producing still life oil painting using a loose approach and exploring tone and colour to describe the subject, without overworking.
Learn Penny’s method for painting flowers with oil paints. We will also reference the work of artists Michael Klein, Daniel Keys and Kathy Anderson.

Oil paints (list given on payment via email)
Canvas or panel: two small primed boards 8” x 10” and one larger board or of canvas approx. 10” x 12”
Solvent (low odour)

about the tutor
Penny German is an associate member of RBSA and a full member of Chelsea Art Society. She has been painting for 30+ years including 20 in oils, focussing largely on still life and florals. Penny has been holding workshops and painting holidays for ten years and aims to give students the tools to develop their own style.
