On the first Friday of every month the main studio turns in to a working space to paint, draw, or simply have time to work on some ideas with others in a mutually supportive creative atmosphere. Whether you consider yourself an artist, a creative or an art student, we invite you to come and make the most of our great facilities, for only £10 for the day (please book in advance)

A two-day course focusing on producing still life oil painting using a loose approach and exploring tone and colour to describe the subject, without overworking.

This workshop is an ideal introduction to landscape painting in oils. Working from a reference photo provided a landscape painting will be produced with attention to perspective, tonal values, colour mixing and application of colours. Students will be able to create a realistic landscape painting following a step-by-step process.
ONE PLACE AVAILABLE (MORNING)
A gentle 3-hour introduction to the art of woodturning. Each student will have their own piece of wood to work on that will be pre-prepared and ready to turn. We will each make a small bowl that will be demonstrated in stages for each student to follow in turn.
