Something for everyone

Art events in our art space

In our first two years, we have not only run a diverse range of courses and workshops, but also held a number of successful events. For example, we took part in the nationwide event 'The Big Draw', which brought the entire community together. This was followed by the Yardley Hastings Lantern Parade with over 300 children taking part. More recently we held popular talks on Singer Sargeant and the first Impressionist Exhibition by the recognised authority, Elaine Kilmurray and a portraiture demonstration and enlivening talk by celebrated local artist, Elke Pollard. We also held two storytelling evenings with The Feast Of Fools, which were extremely popular and have been requested to return.

From 28 to 30 June 2019, we are holding our first ever Summer Exhibition, which we plan to make an annual event. The theme is ‘Garden and Landscapes’ to coincide with the Yardley Hastings Open Gardens event on the Sunday. As well as an exciting collection of art, which will be for sale, there will be artists in our garden and dotted around the village. Make sure you come along and have a browse.

Look out for more exciting events coming soon at Yardley Arts.

Many activities can be fitted into the space for both practical work, lectures and displays.
