Life Drawing from the nude female form

Whether you are new to life-drawing or would like some time drawing a model, everyone can be catered for in this course.  The course is led by Sara Myers a classically trained sculptor and her approach is very much based on individual help and feedback.

What should I expect?         The basic set up is drawing the model from an easel. The model timings will be quick poses to longer poses, ending with a 45 minute pose

Always wanted to work in clay and learn to mould and cast? This is an easy one day workshop where you can spend the morning modelling a small relief sculpture and after lunch make a simple mould and cast the relief in plaster. At the end of the day you will take home your own clay relief.

2 day sessions. Day one (23rd) covers Still Life oil painting and day 2 looks at oil painting flowers.

Produce a small oil sketch of still life in one day.  Learn how to set up subject matter,

Sculpt the Torso in Clay – weekend workshop

An intensive 2 day clay workshop where tuition will be given throughout. You will be modelling a half-life size torso from a live model in clay over a 2 day period.

Armature and materials are included in the cost of the course, and there will be modelling tools sprays available. The main purpose is to model a torso from life looking at the anatomy.
