In still life photography, a photographer creates an image with almost full control over lighting, mood, and composition. This day workshop run by Tracey Sherwood will allow participants to create unique photographic images, making full use of both available and additional controlled light sources, shooting inside and out (weather permitting).
Working with Autumn/Winter and seasonal festivities as themes, we will construct, light and photograph images that could be framed as presents or used as cards to keep in touch with family and friends.
Date and time
Saturday 24 November, from 10am to 4pm.
What to bring
These are practical workshops, so access to a camera is essential – and a tripod if you have one. Please provide your own SD cards, and it would be advisable to have a memory stick available to store your images at the end of the day. A pocket-sized notebook and pen would also be handy.
You will need to spend a little time considering what objects you would like to use in your still life image. Bring with you a small selection of portable props and useable backgrounds.
If you have any specific questions, please email Tracey direct.
£50 per person. This course is suitable for ages 16+. Places are limited to 15, so book early to avoid disappointment.
